Larson Electrics ships via UPS for most orders and US Postal for APO/FPO and European and Canadian orders.  We have an extensive list of countries that we ship to.  When international customers check out, they will see a list of countries to choose from.  By selecting a country, your shipping will be automatically calculated.  If you do not see your country on the list, please email  us for a shipping quote.  Orders to Africa, India, Middle Eastern and Asian countries (except Japan) require prepayment in full,  prior to shipping.  This excludes our existing international customers in these countries.

Larson Electronics keeps a substantial inventory of pre-assembled components, so that even custom orders can be final assembled and shipped rapidly.  Most orders are filled and shipped within 3-5 business days and most Internet based orders ship same day.  With a highly automated and computerized warehouse and shipping operation, Larson Electronics ships via USPS APO/FPO to bases around the world, in addition to using UPS, FEDEX and DHL.

We accept all credit cards and verify all international credit card orders with the issuing bank in that country.  During the order process, customers outside the United States will be asked for issuing bank name and number.  If we cannot validate the international card's address, we will simply cancel the order and refund the card used in the transaction.   

Larson Electronics (www.magnalight.com) 24 Volt Military Spotlights
In 2004, Larson Electronics adapted the 12 volt Magnalight spotlight, producing the HML-5M (HLM-5M).  This 24 volt military approved spotlight comes with either flood lamp or spot lamp and a very strong 3.25 inch diameter magnetic base.  Delivering multi-million candle power output, this spotlight features a 21 foot cord and either ring terminal connectors or battery clamps for direct battery connection.  Originally specified, tested and approved by Camp Pendleton, this unit has been popular with every branch of the US military and is widely used in Iraq and Afghanistan in the HUMVEEs, Bradleys, 1088s, FOX recon vehicles and all MRAP armored patrol vehicles.

The Magnalight spotlights come standard with a 140 degree hinge base and an 100 pound grip magnet.  The magnetic base enables operators to place the light semi-permanently on gun mounts, etc. for optimal illumination and/or blinding of targets.  While the lights stay put during action, they can be moved to different vehicles and removed for storage very easily.  These unique magnetic bases are tough enough to keep the light in place during heavy fire and intense terrain maneuvers.  The Magnalights project a strong, white beam nearly 500 feet, which makes them ideal for locating IEDs and other risks.

The 2-pin SAE connector enables a secure, weatherproof connection to a variety of cords, including the standard cigarette plug, ring terminal connections and battery clamps.  Larson Electronics can adapt the configuration of the spotlight, including handle, frame, switch, wiring and base to adapt to custom specifications.  The Magnalight spotlight is now used in mine sweeper applications, patrol boats, and in permanent gun mount applications because of this custom build characteristic.  The 2-pin SAE connector enables units to move the spotlight to different vehicles, equipped with battery connected cords, which is ideal for quick and easy vehicle transfer, training missions, etc.

In 2006, Larson Electronics released the high intensity discharge Xenon lamp in the HML-6M  (HlM-6M).  This light projects an intense white beam nearly 2,000 feet with less than 4 amps (compared to 500 feet with the HML-5M).  Equipped with 5.5 inch diameter 160 pound grip magnet, this spotlight is designed to produce a blinding light, with no dark spots at great distances.  This ballast controlled light operates at 12 and 24 volts natively and comes with the same cord options as the HML-5M and HML-5C.  This light offers spot and flood lamp options, and features arc lamp technology.  These HID bulbs do not have filament.  Instead, the ballast fires a strong arc across a glass tube filled with Xenon gas.  The gas ignites and the ballast maintains the burning gas.  Without a filament to break, these bulbs are much more durable in high vibration environments than traditional halogen bulbs.

The HID spotlight with magnetic swivel base complements the existing line of HID flashlights, the PL-24 and PL-14.  Projecting light to a distance of 2,800 feet these “Maglite” style flashlights contain a lithium ion battery, providing a run time of 90 minutes on a single 2 hour charge from a 12/24 volt rapid charger.  These durable lights feature a anodized aluminum casing and come in a 24 watt (1300 lumens) and 14 watt (860 lumens) configuration in a variety of lengths depending on switch selection.

Larson Electronics also outfits its utility, commercial and military customers with a complete line of remote control spotlights.  The GL-7951-24 is a wireless remote control spotlight with magnetic base.  Projecting light to a distance of 800 feet, this motorized spotlight rotates a full 370 degrees and tilts 140 degrees.  Controlled with a radio based remote control, this unit can be operated remotely at a distance of 150 feet.  The remote controlled spotlight is portable and has a strong magnetic base, making it ideal for a variety of semi-permanent mounting applications.  The GL-3049-24 is the latest version, featuring a wireless handheld and dash mount remote control.  For radio frequency sensitive applications, the portable GL-5149, with magnetic base, features a wired handheld remote control.  The GL-2020-B is a permanent mount spotlight with a dash mounted joystick style remote control.   These remote controlled spotlights are extremely durable and come with a variety of mounting options, remote control options and infrared lenses.  Several of these remote control spotlights have existing NSN numbers.

Golight Remote Control Flood Lights.  Golight wireless remote controlled flood lights.  Larson Electronics Magnalight converts the Golight Stryker wireless remote controlled spotlights and Golight Radioray radio controlled spotlights into floodlights.  Golight flood lights are effective for dispersing a lot of light within a shorter distance.  This application is ideal for RVs, work trucks and wherever the operator needs to illuminate a work area close at hand. 

Typically, the Golight remote control spotlights are ideal for seeing objects at distance to 800 feet.  These floodlights are effective at illuminating a much wider area 60 feet wide by 70 foot in length.  Golight flood lights are also ideal for emergency work efforts, etc. since workers can look back towards the light without getting the blinding effects often associated with looking directly into a spotlight.  Golight remote control spotlights are designed to project light at distance, while the Golight flood light is designed to flood a work area, close to the light source, with light.

Permanent mount Golight remote control spotlights bolt to the surface of a vehicle, boat or equipment via 3 (Golight Styker wireless remote control spotlight) or 4 bolts (Golight Radioray remote control spotlight).  Each remote control spotlight has a 1 foot power wire for attachment to existing wiring harness or user provided 16 AWG wire extension to the fuse box and/or battery. Each remote control spotlight draws 5.5 amps, including .5 amp to power the motorized rotation and tilt of the remote controlled spotlight beam and 5 amps to power the spotlight beam. Each remote operated spotlight has 360 degrees of motorized rotation and 140 degrees of motorized tilt.

All Golight remote control spotlights feature multi-million adjusted retail candlepower power.  The bases are approximately 5 inches square and the Golights need an area 7 inches X 7 inches X 7 inches to operate.

Golight Stanchion Mount Boat Lights: Golight remote control searchlights with 6 inch and 12 inch stanchion mount with Perko mount socket base.  Golight navigation lights and Golight boat lights.   Each Golight boat light ships with a Perko socket, which is mounted at the bow of the boat.  Many boats already have a Perko socket installed.  The Golight stanchion is placed into the socket and a twist lock collar secures the Golight in place.  The light rotates 370 degrees and tilts 140 degrees.  The red/green running lights are always lit when the light is in place, but the operator uses a wireless handheld remote control to turn the spotlight on and off and control the rotation and tilt of the spotlight.

24 Volt Golight Remote Control Lights:

24 Volt DC Golight Stryker wireless remote control spotlights (Golight wireless remote control searchlights), including Golight Stryker remote control spotlights with magnetic base, 16 foot cord and cigarette plug. 24 volt Golight remote lights have a step down board the converts 24 volt current to 12 volt current.  All of the components in the Golight are 12 volt, including motors, bulbs, etc. Several of the 24 volt units have had the wireless board removed completely to ensure no conflict with other communications devices and IED detectors in military application 

Unique to Larson Electronics Magnalight, we adapt 24 volt Golight Stryker remote control spotlights, adding a 200 pound grip magnetic base and various cords and plugs.  Plugs include cigarette plug, battery clamps, Hubbell connectors, trailer connectors, 10 foot coil cord with cigarette plug and 3/8 inch battery ring terminals.

Infrared Filters:

Infrared filters, infrared covers and covert infrared lens covers.

Infrared filter covers (blackout covers) are used to block the emission of visible light.  Generally, these covert infrared blackout covers are used to avoid detections.  Night vision equipment, including googles, cameras and binoculars are needed to see the energy transmitted through these lenses.  Generally, infrared filters will block the transmission of light energy below 850nm.
