Larson Electronics manufactures the Magnalight 12 volt spotlights with magnetic base and 12 volt searchlights with magnetic base with magnetic bases and 16 foot cords in Dallas, TX. These industrial grade 12 volt spotlights have been a staple of the cable, telephone and electric utility industry since 1967. Magnalight has since its beginnings expanded this to include the military/law enforcement industries, federal and local governments, and emergency and first responder industries as well.
We carry a complete line of HID off road and HID equipment lights, including the Acro Light line. HID flood lights with permanent and magnetic mount options work on 12 and 24 volt DC systems and provide illumination that extends 250 feet. The permanent mount and magnetic mount HID spotlights project a beam to 3000 feet.

The Magnalight HAL-LI-48-2L-LED Hazardous Area LED Light Fixture is U.S./Canada ETL listed Class 1 Division 2 Groups A, B, C and D and ideal for use in paint spray booth, clean rooms and industrial hazardous locations where accumulated paint and finish residues may be encountered. This unit is of a lay-in mount, front loading troffer design offering a 2'-W X 4'L by 2 1/2" Depth mounting profile for providing maximum illumination from limited mounting space.
The HAL-LI-48-2L-LED fixture is a 4 foot long, 4 lamp, Class 1 Division 2 Groups A, B, C and D hazardous area LED light and a good choice for use in industrial clean room applications and paint spray booths. This front access troffer style fixture is T3C temperature rated, vapor proof and dust proof, and comes standard with our high power 24 watt LED lamps that run cooler, use less power, and produce more light than standard T5 fluorescent lamps. The housing on this unit is constructed of powder coated 20 gauge steel, and is sealed and gasketed for safety. The lamp housing contains a highly reflective insert to increase light output efficiency. The LED lamps are held in place by spring loaded sockets and protected by a 90° hinged glass door with a 3/16” tempered glass lens which is secured with three turn latches.
This fixture is multi-voltage capable and can run with voltages of 120 Volt 60 HZ, 220 Volt 50 HZ, 240 Volt 60 HZ, and 277 Volts 60 HZ. Wiring is through 1/2 NPT wiring hubs located on the back side of the fixture. This fixture also provides added safety through the inclusion of an integral magnetic paint spray cutoff switch that shuts down paint spray systems when the fixture is opened.
This fixture features a troffer lay-in mounting design housing that measures only 2 and 1/4 inches in thickness and 2 feet wide by four feet long, resulting in a very low profile fixture that is deal for flush mounting in ceilings that utilize standard sized ceiling tiles. |

LED Efficiency: We have eliminated the ballast normally associated with fluorescent fixtures which reduces overall weight, increases lamp life to an extreme 50,000 hours and helps this LED fixture maintain a T-3C temperature rating. The solid state design of the included LED lamps give this fixture superior resistance to damage from vibrations and extremes in temperature as well as a lamp service life over twice that of standard T5-bulbs. The 24 watt LED lamps produce more illumination than standard T5-HO bulbs, but draw only 1/3rd of the current. The current generation of Magnalight LED T-series style bulbs produce 15% more light than our HAL-48-2L-T5HO fixture outfitted with two 54 watt T5HO bulbs. This fixture is multi-voltage capable (not multi-tap) and works on the following voltages: 120 Volt 60 HZ, 220 Volt 50 HZ, 240 Volt 60 HZ, 277 Volts 60 HZ.
NOTE: The integral magnetic cutoff switch included with this fixture is activated when the lamp door is opened.This switch is not intended to directly control light operation and requires the addition of a separate solid state relay which is then used to control actual system operation. The Cutoff Switch acts only as an activator for an external relay and is rated for 10 watts at a maximum of 300 VAC. Overloading the switch through improper connection will result in switch failure. It is recommened that a certified electrician make any installations and reviews of relay connections intended to take advantage of this light's cutoff switch.
