Larson Electronics
Larson Electronics manufactures the Magnalight 12 volt spotlights with magnetic base and 12 volt searchlights with magnetic base with magnetic bases and 16 foot cords in Dallas, TX. These industrial grade 12 volt spotlights have been a staple of the cable, telephone and electric utility industry since 1967. Magnalight has since its beginnings expanded this to include the military/law enforcement industries, federal and local governments, and emergency and first responder industries as well.
We carry a complete line of HID off road and HID equipment lights, including the Acro Light line. HID flood lights with permanent and magnetic mount options work on 12 and 24 volt DC systems and provide illumination that extends 250 feet. 1000 Watt Metal Halide Light - Hot Restrike - Multi-tap Ballast - Spot or Flood

The HID-22SL-HR 1000 Watt Metal Halide Light from Magnalight provides operators with the intensity and good color rendering of a metal halide lamp combined with the reliability of a hot restrike capable ballast that reduces downtime associated with shutoffs.
The HID-22SL-HR 1000 watt metal halide light produces exceptional illumination using a 22” aluminum reflector housing that spreads a powerful flood pattern of high quality light over large areas. This fixture is equipped with a 1000 watt metal halide lamp which produces powerful illumination and good color rendering. The ballast in this unit is a hot restrike design which allows this lamp to be switched on at full power after being shut off instead of needing the warm up period usually associated with metal halide lamps. This hot restrike capability makes this unit ideal for applications where maintaining full power illumination is critical and downtime after shutoffs needs to be reduced as much as possible. |

The sealed 22” reflector is constructed of spun aluminum with a clear tempered glass lens which is hinged onto the reflector for easy access to the metal halide bulb and sealed with a high temperature silicone gasket. The reflector, gasket and lens assembly is secured into place with three quick release stainless steel latches. The ballast in this lamp provides a hot restrike capability which restarts the lamp at full power after a shutdown instead of requiring the warm up period after restrike usually necessary with metal halide lamps before full power light output is regained.
This fixture contains an extra heavy duty ballast housing and finned socket and wiring compartments for cooler operation and longer ballast life. The entire exterior of the unit is finished in an all weather polyester powder coating which provides an attractive finish and protection from the elements. A copper free aluminum mounting yoke with locking positioning stop allows operators to lock the fixture into the desired mounting angle. This unit is weather proof and U.L listed for use in wet areas making it ideal for applications requiring illumination of large scale areas that may be subject to wet conditions.
