Larson Electronics manufactures the Magnalight 12 volt spotlights with magnetic base and 12 volt searchlights with magnetic base with magnetic bases and 16 foot cords in Dallas, TX. These industrial grade 12 volt spotlights have been a staple of the cable, telephone and electric utility industry since 1967. Magnalight has since its beginnings expanded this to include the military/law enforcement industries, federal and local governments, and emergency and first responder industries as well.
We carry a complete line of HID off road and HID equipment lights, including the Acro Light line. HID flood lights with permanent and magnetic mount options work on 12 and 24 volt DC systems and provide illumination that extends 250 feet. The WAL-JHEQ-LV-25 low voltage quartz halogen work light from Magnalight is capable of illuminating an area 1,400 - 1,900 square feet in size depending on bulb choice. This 12/24 volt work light comes attached to an aluminum rail/ladder mount bracket that allows operators to easily mount this unit to ladders, handrails, catwalks and other similar structures. This light also includes a height adjustable center mounting yolk that allows operators to elevate the lamp up to three feet.
The versatile WAL-JHEQ-LV-25 J bracket mounted quartz halogen work light from Magnalight with an adjustable aluminum ladder/scaffold mount that makes it ideal for industrial applications, maintenance, cleaning and servicing duties, large open space areas and any area where ladders, scaffolding and other railings provide opportunities for mounting. This unit contains a single 150 or 300 watt quartz halogen lamp depending upon operator choice, and is capable of illuminating 1,400 - 1,900 quare feet of work space.
The aluminum rail/ladder bracket can be adjusted from 26 inches to 43 inches to allow mounting to a wide variety of railings, scaffoldings or ladders. The quartz lamp is mounted to an adjustable center bracket that allows operators to elevate the light to different heights. Since many handrails are located at waist height, the rail offers the operator the ability to elevate the light 3 feet above the top mount rail. |

These lights include 25 feet of cord and operate with 12 or 24 VDC depending upon the operators chosen configuration and are available with a choice of connection options including cigarette plug, battery clamps, and ring terminals. 12 VDC versions include a 150 watt quartz bulb, and 24 volt versions include a 300 watt quartz bulb. 150 watt versions will cover 1,400 square of workspace, while 300 watt versions will cover 1,900 square feet.
This light is highly durable and produces high light output in a wide flood pattern. The lamp is mounted to an aluminum bracket with adjustable J-hook bottom bracket that enables operators to securely mount the light to any ladder or scaffolding. Lamp adjustment is via an adjustable yolk that allows the operator to adjust the lamp through 90 degrees of vertical tilt and 360 degrees of pivot rotation. An adjustable center post allows users to elevate the lamp up to three feet to provide better work space coverage and move the lamp above their average line of sight for less glare.
Suggested applications for this light include catwalks, ship rails, new construction, tank work, etc.
